10. VOD video player (Films and Series)

VOD playback: controls, audio, subtitles, serial options, side panels and technical diagnostics.

10.1 Show controls

During playback, the OK button (center) displays the control panel. On this panel you can find various options as shown below.

When the control panel is visible, the player can display the title, quality, FPS, resolution, audio stream, time and date.

10.2 Lower icons

  • Audio track selection.
  • Screen format.
  • Subtitles: activation, appearance, language, subtitle offset, OpenSubtitles settings.
  • Advanced settings: video/audio technical options, autoframerate, audio passthrough, audio/video offset, auto-resolution, display time...

10.3 Series specific options

  • At the bottom right of the panel, you can skip to the previous or next episode.
  • Autoplay (located in advanced settings): Automatically starts the next episode after 95% completion if the option is enabled.

You can change the completion % before moving to the next episode from Settings > Preferences. The available thresholds are 95%, 98%, 99% and 100%.

10.4 Advanced VOD options

  • Auto resolution: adaptation of the content to the screen.
  • Auto frame rate: adaptation of the refresh rate to the stream.
  • Audio passthrough: useful with AV receiver.
  • Audio Offset (+/-): Correct the sync offset.
  • Display of technical details of the track.
  • Autoplay next episode.
  • VOD buffer (playback buffer).

      10.5 Left/Right Panels (Hidden Controls)

      Premium function

      These side panels are available in Premium only

      • Left arrow: displays the file (synopsis, poster, note, casting...).
      • Right arrow: vertical list of elements in the same group.
      • On a series, this list displays the episodes of the active season (name + image).
      • You can launch other content directly from this list.

      10.6 Technical diagnostics (QR)

      1. 01In the player's advanced settings, click to open the dialog box that contains the technical details of your stream.
      2. 02You will then be able to view audio, video, network details and other information related to your current stream.
      3. 03If necessary, you can scan the QR at the bottom of this dialog box to send the technical report by email.
