13. Settings (Preferences and management)
In this chapter, you will find information on the different sections of the settings screen, including: General information, playlist management, preferences, group/channel management, connection test and subscription.

13.1 General information
- App version: free or premium.
- Expiration date and remaining days of your provider subscription (current playlist).
- Number of films, series, channels and programs in the playlist.
- Date of last update of the contents of the playlist.
- Name of active playlist.

13.2 Preferences
Most options in the "Preferences" section are Premium.
- Interface language.
- 12h/24h time format.
- Number of channels displayed in TV Favorites.
- Number of channels displayed in TV History.
- History addition threshold: delay or deactivation.
- Playback percentage to mark a movie/episode seen.
- Marker display Seen on posters.
- EPG offset.
- Replay delay (up to 12 hours if necessary).
- Personalized VOD and live user-agent.
- Show the group ALL in VOD.
- OpenSubtitles account and language.
- Backup and Restore
- And much more!

13.3 My Wave settings
Access to My Wave is reserved for Premium subscribers.
- Section allowing you to personalize the display of this section (VOD)

13.4 Subscription (Android TV vs Fire TV)
- On Android TV (Google Play):
- The purchase or subscription is made via the TV app
- • up to 5 devices maximum linked to the same purchase. If subscription: necessarily linked to the same Google account. If purchase: you receive a code which is independent of the Google account
- Lifetime offer: code displayed to activate another device.
- To manage devices: on the Wave IPTV Mobile app > Settings > Premium TV code, or via the waveiptv.org/en/account website.
- For Fire TV or non-play store versions (downloaded via Downloader for example):
- • activation by code (no native Google Play payment in the app):
- • 5 devices maximum.
- Purchase via Mobile app > Settings > Premium TV code

13.5 Cloud synchronization
Premium function. No testing possible on this functionality
Cloud synchronization synchronizes one device with one (or more) others (one code per active device).
- 01Choose the playlist to import via Cloud Sync.
- 02Sign in with your Google account if the screen asks you to do so.
- 03Generate the code.
- 04Enter this code on the second device (see “Import playlist” section). The import starts automatically a few seconds later.
You can sync multiple devices.
A code is only used for one device at a time. If you need to sync multiple devices with each other, repeat the same operation with the other devices that need to sync to the source device.

13.6 Playlist and update
This section centralizes the data and parameters for updating your content and allows you to perform various actions including:
- 01Manage your playlists and profiles.
- 02Update active playlist.
- 03Configure the automatic updating of several playlists by checking those that interest you, and choose the update time as well as the frequency.
- 04For a manual update: choose a type of content (check among TV, VOD, etc.) then click on “Update”. Your selection does not influence the types of automatically updated content which are always global (films/series/channels/programs).
The update usually takes 1 to 5 minutes.
The default time is 04:00 a.m.
The planning schedule is set in Playlist and Update.

13.7 Management and visibility of groups (films / series / channels)
Group management is a Premium feature.
In the different menus, you can perform different actions including:
- Rename a group.
- Reorder the groups.
- Hide groups.
- Warning: the contents of a hidden group are no longer displayed in the search.
- Gestures:
- • Long click = rename
- • Move with Up/Down
- • Tabs by type: films, series, channels

13.8 Channel management and visibility
Channel management is Premium.
- Principle identical to group management.
- Reorder channels and favorites.
- Rename a channel.
- Hide a channel.
- Move: right arrow then Up/Down.
- Short click = hide / long click = rename.

13.9 Connection test
Allows you to verify that the supplier is responding and that the expiration date displayed is valid.

13.10 Remote control mapping
Remote control mapping allows you to assign an action to a button: single, double press or long press.
- Color buttons.
- Navigation buttons.
- Directional gestures.
- Used in particular in TV Player and EPG.

13.11 App version
- Allows you to check for the presence of an update.
- Start the update from the application.
- On Fire TV, the update can be downloaded directly in the app.

13.12 Info & help
- In this section you will find information on the different developments of the app via a detailed changelog
- At the bottom of the screen, a QR code to scan allows you to send an email to support
